My MiseryA Poem by Michael Wright
Once it was called sweet misery But it brought nothing but pain It was never to be sweet NO one could hear the screams To torment deep under my skin It had been here so long Days and nights are shaded gray Misery never needing company It has become my only friend I wished it was so easy to delete It has surrounded me in darkness From all this pain finding the answers Not having to feel the weight of this world Breaking the chains for real freedom! My Misery will still never end
