This JourneyA Poem by Michael WrightThey say it is the journey we should pay attention not the destination. Some days I wonder
The path I have taken has been hard The wounds upon my feet bleed daily The scars upon the soul have healed I am burdened to carry this pain day to day I see no escape from this prison I created I blame no others for my actions I have never been a Saint I never asked to be sinner This is my curse for all my actions I walk forever between heaven and hell Never finding love Only finding hate I walk among the living with no notice They stare right through my being Never seeing the real person down deep They miss the best part of me The intense core of my being They just continue to look past me Look for the easy and softer way My baggage is bulky and heavy More then these shoulders can bare My day is not done, I have miles to go
