Your Mask

Your Mask

A Poem by Michael Wright

Wearing the the mask to hide that heart

In the end it will be your curse

No light ; no darkness will save you

You will have to unmask your soul

The time to save you has come and gone

Face that fear you attempt to hide from

It will not leave until you face it

Your mask can only hide you for so long

The mask has already cracked

You are being seen for what you are....
