Morning

Morning

A Poem by Charley
"

A poem about the morning

"
Morning

Sun rises
Moon fades
Darkness flees
Light occupies
Night takes its leave
Day fills its place

Crickets sleep
Birds sing
Rabbits hop
Mice scurry
Butterflies flutter

People wake
Move around
Start their machines
Go to work
Burning fuel
Speeding up Earth’s demise

And so the Mourning begins.

Fantastic. Very creative. I'm surprised you haven't had any reviews to date. You condense all of Nature's daily and manifestations and bustle in a few words. And in even fewer words, enters man and doom is on the horizon. How true! You may want to read my "Fishing For Me".

I love writing stories. I often have ideas, but they don't all get onto paper. Most of my stories remain unfinished, but I'm hoping to change that. *update* November 2015 I wrote a whole novel.. more..
