Natural static Swaying in the wind A low swelling to a BANG roar Sharp dots behind the Crackle Slowly take the foreground That one, Fierce split of air, Rumbling across the A T M O S P H E R E Then quick, L I G H T I N T E R R U P T S, Casts SHADOWS upon the formerly unseen Darker, darker, the pounding intensifies F r i g i d pinpricks my face tickle s l i d i n g down my sloped visage T i l t e d u p and eyes shut tight Lighting, Thunder, rain tonight © 2014 CharleyAuthor's Note
