The Mother of Nature

The Mother of Nature

A Poem by madisonculver
"

What rain means to me.

"

Its pitter-patter beat syncopates with the

melody of chords swaying in the wind,

changing in accordance to the direction,

composing rhythms of healing and reassurance.

Rain is a companion for lost souls,

assisting them,

guiding them along the journey called “Life.”

Its a messenger for what’s above,

carrying warnings of what may lay ahead,

and blessings for what is yet to come.

Rain is harsh,

slicing through the heavens

replete with messages and

secrets of the unknown,

the beauty and wonders of our home.

Its arms are outstretched,

repeatedly searching for new life,

new growth,

to tend to.

Rain is the mother of nature

feeding the Earth,

blessing the foundation by showering it with kisses,

raising its children, nourishing them,

watching them grow.

This is amazing, You have a great way with words, you also have a lot of talent! My first poem was no where near this descriptive, my poems still need more vocabulary. I hope to read more of your work soon!
