The Day and The Night

Today was the day I was supposed to be closed. Today was the day you avoided me. You walked away, like you were alone in the Night. I guess I'm happy, but I'm not sure anymore. Was I ever really happy with you? I miss who you used to be, but I don't miss you now. I was the day and you  were the night. When you went away, I slowly started setting and you slowly started rising. Until, I became the night and you became the day.
