Young LoveA Poem by Madeleine GraceAbout a boy and a girl who run away from the fears at home. With eyes so blue, and hair so dark, he was so beautiful, too good to be true
With skin so tan, and a body so frail, her eyes so beautiful, yet so pale
The sky on that day, was lovely in many ways, how it lit up blue, with colorful rays
Their eyes met, She smiled sweetly, He gently touched her her hand, She fell in love; completely.
They married very young, had some kids, lived happily, but yet, she felt a pain that still stung.
He took care of her, nursed her back to health when she needed it, bought her the finest clothing, and was proud to call her his.
Until one day, the young girl fell gravely ill just drifting away from her perfect life, but she felt a mysterious thrill
For she didn't want perfect, She didn't want to have everything she ever dreamed, everything just seemed... wrecked, with all respect she just wanted to scream.
She finally died, and I say finally because that is what the young girl wanted, the young man's bride, died, undaunted.
