Chapter 24

Morning. The time of the day all the stress goes away. I woke up around 8:00am 

to the smell of fresh coffee. It smelled like home, just a better one. This was the 3rd day in

Florida. I am going strong without cutting my wrists.. The scars are going away.. 

I feel somewhat better.

I walked out into the kitchen and sat down at the bar. "Good morning. Your sister

is still sleeping. I made some eggs!" Jill said. "Oh, um. Egg sandwich?" I asked. "Yes."

Jill answered. "Thanks." I said. I munched the eggs away, and when I was done, I quick

rushed to my room, and put a bathing suit on, and a pair of Abercrombie shorts, with a 

floral tank top. "Jill, can I go out?" I asked. "Sure thing. Where?" Jill asked. 

"Just to the pool.. I am a bit bored sitting inside." I said anxiously. "Oh yeah, you go have fun!"

Jill said. "Thanks." I said. 

I ran down the stairs, took my phone out and text Eli. "Come to my hotel's pool." I said. 

He texted back about a minute later. "Be there in 5." The message said. I waited on one of 

the lounge chairs, and about 5 minutes later, I saw Eli in the hotel checking in. He 

ran out to the pool. "Hey!" I said. "Hey Milly." He said back. "Look... I wanna tell you 

something." He said. "Oh.. What is it.." I looked into his eyes. "Something important." 

He looked at me.
