Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Madeline Man

I guess you could say I wait...

I wait, and I wait, and I wait...

I sit here all day and stare at the screen,

Waiting for life to come find me...

What I don't realize,

Is that life is just outside my door...

If only I took the chance to open it,

I would notice it...

And though I know all these things,

I still sit here and wait...

and I wait, and I wait, and I wait...
