How It WasA Poem by Madeline ManYou used to dance in circles, You said you needed to please the sun
Now you're turning purple, All the alchohol running through your blood --------------------------------------------------------------- And no matter how hard you run, You can't out run the night.
And now it's begun, You can't out chance the sky
So take a deep breath, Try to start over again ------------------------------------------------------------------------ You used to sing in riddles, You said open your eyes, it begins with the sight
Now your eyes are useless, You don't look through them anyways -------------------------------------------------------------------------- And no matter how hard you run, You can't out run the night.
And now it's begun, You can't out chance the sky
So take a deep breath, Try to start over again --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Try to start over again....
