Untitled No. 15

A Poem by Maddi Snowden

When I'm with you,
I don't quite breathe right
and I feel as though I'm
not simply 17.

I don't feel my age at all.

Fitzgerald once said
"We all have souls of
different ages"
and with you I feel
my proper age,
whatever that may be.

When I'm near you,
I can feel my heartbeat in my brain
and hear the butterflies in my stomach.
