Untitled No. 7

A Poem by Maddi Snowden

It takes 21 days to
break a habit
or so I've been told.

It's been 20 since our lips last
touched and I can't think of
anything else except your
eyes and the galaxies growing
inside them and how someone
else is busy exploring them
on Friday nights.

You're dust in my lungs,
poison in my veins but by
the 21st day, I won't be dreaming
of getting lost in the stars and
exploring the worlds beyond them.

It takes 21 days
to break a habit but
it takes 2
to break a heart.

That's pretty Impressive write, Maddi!

All the love you'd since you 20 started from then to now and whatever you feel when your lips locked up with the guy you loved or love, everything you penned into the words, it's not "UNTITLED NO.7" but the "HEART OF MADDI" that's been opened with the words. That's why I love this cafe's site, too many creative writers are flying over the site to spread their scent of stuffs, skills all around the world. I can feel the pain of your heart but the love too your heart feel about life because "life brings love and love brings peace."

Ending is very good, it's very excellent! Your feelings are very strong, Maddi!
I hate seeing someone as beautiful as you feel sad, so don't sad!
Everything'd be cool! May God bless you!

I like the way you write. Its as if the audience is actually reading the way that the author would talk. Nice structure.
