The Universe

The Universe

A Poem by Maddi Snowden

Do you think that
the moon ever gets lonely when he
thinks about the countless souls
staring up at him wondering if their
other half is doing the same and
I wonder
if the sun is tired of showing its
face to the lovers who never learned
each others last names and have we
ever considered that the stars
are not in our eyes or in our faults
but in the passion of our breath
and the raw beauty of being happy?

Sometimes I think that the
universe is working
to try and push two people
together by making a train late
or by purposely breaking your heart.

But I am beginning to think that I'm
meant to take long walks at dawn
and make conversation with the dew
drops on daisies all by myself.

And despite these thoughts,
I am really hoping that
the universe is rooting
for us.

An inspiration to write stuffs like that burns into the heart of those who gonna be reading this magnificent piece, "The Universe" It's seemed that you've captured all over the universe into your pretty amazing words. I'd heard that angels make the world beautiful with their scent but I didn't know, "They make the heart filled with the passion of doing for what it's ever wished to with their words as same as you done." Am honored to read your stuffs, Maddi!

You are so kind! Thank you!!
The moon was this awesome romantic mysterious thing hanging up there in the sky
where you and I could never reach it. No matter how much you and I wanted to.
But you are absolutely right ! Once you and I are up there its just but a big dull rock ...
