The One and Only

 

We  all cannot help but question.

Where we might end up in the next section.

A curiosity that kills, and

Even sometimes thrills the

Discretion of our very being, we

Cannot help but ask why were

Kept in the dark, unable to see

Our reality. So close yet so

Far away. Always wanting to

Make a name along the short journey.

Its no wonder our world is in such a big hurry.

We are all so different , yet so much the same.

The way the ones we love so much

Can drive us insane. Not remembering

The touch that at first felt ever so bright.

Except now time is just so tight.

Generation after generation you would think

We would learn. To decide what is important

And leave the rest in the dirt. There’s not much

We can do since no one has a clue .

Besides love life, and be the one and only 

You.
