Broken glassA Poem by Maddie. L .sestinaCondensation on the window. Water dripping down the glass. She slides smoothly across the floor. As she quietly slips threw the door. Silent as a mouse , she puts down her bag. She holds her head down , hopuing no to be noticed by her teacher.
Of course she hears her name , its the teacher. The teacher ordered her to clean the window. She puts under her desk, her bag. She wants to jump right threw the glass. Or smarter, walk right back through the door. and once more down the hallway floor.
I sit on the cold floor. She orders me to stand up, that mean teacher. She tells me to walk out the door. She says do no look back into the classroom window. Then I hear something crash, it sounds like breaking glass. I then realize I forgot my bag.
It was my bag. It had dropped on the floor. My glass bottle was now shattered glass. More inferiated than ever was the teacher. She said to look outside the window. The pricipal was waiting for me outside the door.
Suspension is the only option for breaking glass. Out the front of the school door. Orders from the principal and teacher. In the garbage went my poor bag. Before i left i cleaned the floor. Plus the splash on the cold, wet window.
Never put glass inside a bag. When it drops on the floor you will be sent out the door. You will get suspendedand be forced to clean a window, orders from the teacher.
