Oh, My Monster

“Having a light side and a dark side is what makes life interesting.”

--Tyki Mikk, “D. Gray-Man”

Sam brushed past the two vampire sentries standing guard at the door. They nodded respectfully before stepping aside.

She paused at the threshold, hand poised above the knob, bracing herself. She knew what she would find here. She was prepared. It wasn’t the first time and it most certainly wouldn’t be the last.

Even now Sam could hear the erotic moans emanating from the other side of the door. The room was soundproof, but with her sensitive hearing, it was as though she were already inside.

Sam burst through the door, ignoring the frightened shrieks of females scrambling for their clothing. Two girls darted out of the room behind her before she could slam it shut. She remembered them. No wonder they’d run away. The blond still bore scars along the right side of her face and above her eye from their last meeting.

The smell of sex hit her nostrils like a punch to the face and she didn’t even have to look around to search for the man she’d come to see.

The walls were painted with chipped grey paint and darkly lit by a single, dim bulb, hanging overhead. There was nothing in the space but a miniature stage with a pole in the centre and one red couch where the man sat with his face pressed into some w***e’s neck. Two other women knelt on the floor making a meal of his engorged penis and swollen testicles.

“Hello, Husband.” Sam strolled into the room, completely unfazed by the sight of her mate and the compromising position he was in.

After a moment, Cal disengaged his fangs from the female’s throat. She fell back against the couch shuddering with a contented sigh, a drugged smile plastered on her barely conscious face.

“Wife!” Cal opened his arms to Sam though the two females still sat before him feasting away at his genitals.

As if she would ever touch the man-w***e.

“I believe we had an appointment my love.” Sam had had to hold back the vomit rising in her throat at that word.

“Did we?” Cal cocked his head to the side, yellow, cat-eyes considering her. “I thought maybe you’d gotten jealous again.”

Sam rolled her eyes. As if she could ever feel anything but annoyance towards the lecherous leech before her. It was bad enough that the fates had chosen this useless creature as her mate, but to think that she would ever be jealous of him or the bimbos he surrounded himself with. It was almost laughable.

“I was never jealous to begin with.”

“Tell that to the poor girl whose face you broke.” He nodded towards the door, indicating the female that had just fled from the room.

“I broke her face out of irritation. Nothing more. Now extract your w****s so that we can go. I don’t want to be in this s**t-hole any longer than I have to be.”

Sam tapped her boots on the filthy concrete floor in impatience. She wanted to get this night over with.

Cal chuckled, wiping away a bead of blood from the corner of his mouth with a handkerchief, though, where he’d pulled it from, Sam couldn’t guess.

“There’s no need to be cruel, Love,” he purred. “We w****s have feelings too.” Cal stood from the couch, brushing aside the females still mawing at his loins. He strutted to her side, not bothering to cover his still-erect shaft and leaned forward to whisper against her skin.

“In fact,” he raised a finger to her cheek, running his nail across her flesh slowly. Suggestively. Chills broke over her. “I can show you just how much we can feel.”

He didn’t stop at her cheek but continued on down her neck, over her collar bone, down to the top button of her shirt and the cleft of her breasts. He moved closer to her ear, the warmth of his breath fanning across her flesh. He caressed her lobe with his lips, nuzzled her neck. She felt the warm wetness of his fangs as they brushed against her skin.

Sam wasn’t sure why his fangs were still out, he couldn’t possibly still be hungry; the female he’d been drinking from earlier was practically comatose.

“Let me show you,” he whispered.

Sam didn’t stop him from stroking her breast. He reached into the top of her blouse, into her bra, his nail scraping against her n****e. She allowed herself to lean into his touch. He pressed his erection against her thigh, his other hand wrapping around her waist to cup her a*s. He squeezed, pushing their bodies closer together.

“Cal!” The two females who had been sucking off her mate whined from the couch.

“Quiet my beauties.” Cal turned to the pouting females. “You don’t want to get on this woman’s bad side, you know. She won’t go easy on you just because you’re cute.” Cal arched a brow, smiling wickedly at Sam before he went back to burrowing his face into her neck, nipping at her skin.

“You’ll protect us, Cal, won’t you?”

“I won’t.” Cal admitted, touching his lips to her jaw.

“Don’t be cruel,” Sam smiled. “Didn’t you say w****s have feelings too?”

“Not those w****s,” Cal muttered. He raised his mouth to Sam’s and pressed his lips to hers. His tongue brushed against her lips, requesting passage.

“Mmm,” she sighed seductively against Cal’s lips. “You know,” she whispered. “I have something to show you?”

Sam reached between their bodies, cupping Cal’s erection. He moaned, pushing himself into her palm.

“Do you like that,” Sam purred.

Cal nipped at her bottom lip gently, groaning while she massaged him. He hooked a finger into the waist of her pants and pulled at them.

Sam squeezed, smiling at the sounds of pleasure he made as he began to pump into her hand. She squeezed tighter.

And tighter…

…And tighter.

Cal’s body went rigid, a whimper caught in his throat. He slowly released her pants. Carefully extracted his hand from her bra. He raised his arms out to his sides in surrender, the rest of his body completely immobile.

He held his breath.

Sam smiled at the tick in his jaw as he ground his teeth, probably in an attempt to keep from crying out.

She squeezed tighter.

Cal’s body jerked.

“I apologize.” A pained whisper escaped between his clenched teeth. “I was just screwing with you. I took it too far.” Cal jerked again when she squeezed tighter. “I’m sorry,” he rushed out. “I’m sorry.”

“What’s our rule?” Sam loosened her hold just slightly.

“No touching.”

“And…?”

Cal was too silent for too long. Obviously he’d forgotten. She squeezed again.

“No feeding!” He gasped.

“And?”

“And… no… trying to seduce you.”

As if that one were possible, but she’d felt the need to include it regardless. Just in case he got any stupid ideas, which he always seemed to have an unending supply of.

“So you do remember.” Sam smiled, proud that her lessons had made their way through her mate’s thick skull. She released him and he staggered back, cupping himself, breathing raggedly.

That was cruel,” he bit out.

“Cruel is what I’ll be if you ever put your hands on me again.” Sam turned on her heel and pulled open the door. She looked back at her mate. The two females stood at his side comforting him. They helped him stand upright, placing delicate kisses on his cheeks.

Sam knew nothing of delicacy and she’d never been comforted by anyone for any reason.

Only the weak needed comfort. A real vampire needed nothing and no one. Those were the lessons that had been pounded into her daily as a child. Cal was a useless excuse for a vampire and a sorry excuse for a man. If her father were awake, he would have ordered her to kill him the day their mated marks appeared.

“Hurry up and get dressed,” Sam spat. “Let’s get this over with so that I can finally be rid of you.”
