Nightbeast

Nightbeast

A Poem by Katherine Rose Whitmore
"

Hobos are terrifying!

"
Fearsome, lumbering nightbeast
please shy away your maddened eyes
if not, your grasp you must release
I am frightened by your breath, your sighs
sporadic, staccato, hungering and black
I have a feeling to my home I won't be going back.

Nice use of brevity, even if it left me wanting more.
