Insomnia

Insomnia

A Poem by Macias
"

insomnia in way through dream

"
i stood beyond the smokey vale
of a dream-land weak in tale
of time quickened with no suspend
where my thoughts turn till they bend

A focused haze upon my mind
searching daringly so, between- the lines
truths enter a dream,
like sweet medication
I admired its mumbles and determination

Thus i grew envy of truth,
I sought retaliation
and took truth and my burden imagination
with my mind and its thoughts found bent
i hid the truth in lies will spent

A dream, the truth, may be found to be fare
But i feel a quake in my hands that bleeds nightmare
Or perhaps the likes of a fairy tale
From beyond the weakness of dream where i hale

All i know, is of truth hid in a lie
That this is where dreams come to die
And my heart will lay awake
As my mind gently breaks.

As my mind gently breaks.
