My View

A Poem by Macciola

"
Her dark breeze is reminiscent of a past long ago
From the sunrise to the sunset, she gazes with a gentle, warm glow
She was always here when she was far away
But I became hers, as he became someone else’s
And someone even further after me after we are all gone
She’ll always be here with a patio down below
Even a cat man up above
As my smoke rises into the night and I am a dragon for a moment
The chill brings me back to reality, looking out her window
She’ll lull me back to heaven with her warm, gentle glow
