February's Hour

A Poem by Macciola

A relaxing turn of events

Leaves you on edge yet still so calm

Praying no one important passes by; your composure will come to an end

For a long, long while

But as the sun shown through and the breeze chilled you slightly

Somehow it was almost okay

Because your companion looked up and seemed to smile

Excited as time may be
