Oh Mysterious IxiA Poem by RebeccaA poem inspired by neopet's Tarla's Tour of Mystery event.
Oh my cruelest Tarla
you are the Ixi of despair, for when I come to call, I find that you are never there. I hear a cry and think, do I, that you are there to stay, but as I approach, I see that you have gone away. Why do you flee from me, my Ixi, for I know not what I've done, or is this perhaps a game to you, a twisted sort of fun? Oh my mysterious Tarla with robes of violet hue, what are we to think of when you act the way you do? We neopians all hold you in the highest of regards, but each time you disappear our hearts shatter into shards. Do you know not of our affection or can you somehow not comprehend, that the Skeith down to the Skoath (and owners) all consider you their friend? Oh my dearest Tarla could it be you could not see, and mistook for treasure hunters what was just simple company? Next time, fairest Tarla, when from your shop you stray, will you perhaps consider that no longer low you'll lay? It saddens me to know that you continue still to hide, but until you venture forth once more my time I will still bide. © 2010 RebeccaAuthor's Note
