autistic puppet

autistic puppet

A Poem by mae
"

what it feels like to grow up on the autism spectrum

"
emotions like strings
they control me
console me

limbs connected barely
so little they're flailing
and failing

who stands holding these woods
unbeknownst to the world
who stands running free
puppeteering this girl

untrustworthy untrue
borderline crazy
a marionette
with autism's safety
