Cravings

Cravings

A Poem by mae
"

Still - I tried adding on to an old poem I wrote so let me know what you think. The original poem is just the first stanza. I would’ve posted just that but it wasn’t exceptionally living yet.

"

Hug me.

Let your bones hold mine,

Your atoms kiss my skin.

Touch me.

A sense of peace,

Reality, and the damned.

Kiss me.

Soft as summer’s snow,

Yet sharp as stick swords.

Love me.

Let the memories suffice,

Build castles of more.

Human touch, how we can crave that, especially when it is absent. It is what memories are made from. A poem of appreciation.

Who will not crave for a love like that? The last stanza is really great. Love me. Let the memories suffice, Build castles of more.
