Never Truly Love You Says the Mind.

He said he loved me.

He probably meant it.

But I didn't wait around to see.

My heart and my thoughts, never agree.

My heart says "set him free", he could never truly love you.

Your not capable of being loved.

Who would want you?

Your wings are broken.

no longer white.

your wings can't fly.

You never will.

Of which you belong no where.

You don't have a place.

no one could ever love you

I will break free from the ties that bind me

and once again  I will take flight

my heart is full of love

but my mind is full of self-hate

Maybe I will never be good enough for you.

because you..

you.. are so perfect.

Your love is genuine.

I've striked the gold-mine

Your Kind-hearted and strong willed.

My life is unfulfilled

Your everything i could possibly dream of.

I could finally say "I have fallen in love"

but with everything, my mind doesn't think i deserve you.

I will break through..

nice introspective poem though extremely sad. while it is lovely to be loved by another, there is nothing more painful than not loving oneself. If it is biographic, hope you can get rid of the nonsense your mind may suggest you and see the beauty your beloved sees in you.
if I may, maybe a little degree of repetition can be avoided. but that's just my humble opinion. nice work.
