Terrified

Just something I came up with while sitting at work and waiting for my shift to end.

I was terrified the day I met you

Terrified for oh so many reasons

Terrified because I knew no one

Not really

 

I was terrified the first night we spent together

 

I was terrified at the thought

Of losing you

Didn't matter that we'd just met

 

With you I'm the happiest

I've ever been

Since we've been together

I got a job

We got married

 

I am still terrified

That I will lose you

 

Please help me

 

Protect me

From that terror

The terror only you can ease
