Spark is really a Lighting Dragon but, as a gift, she gets a human skin to actually go to Earth. Their motive is to send disguised dragons to Earth and find a solution for their dying populations.

Once on Earth, she comes across a town called Autumn Falls. Also Daniel, a human  teen who wants to leave the town not only because the town is letting him down at something, but of something that nobody knows. While planning to leave, he starts introducing her to more ways of human life and, not knowing, found a way into her heart. The town is struggling and needs help. Daniel may leave - and never return.

Spark doesn't want him to leave because she wants to help the town, but the code of the Lighting Dragon is that may must help one thing or another. Even though she wants to help Autumn Falls, her love for Daniel is growing. Love will save her heart and (probably) her world, but her kindness will save Autumn Falls.

Love and salvation or kindness and help? But will Daniel find her secret before the decision's made?
