What would I tell her.

What would I tell her.

A Poem by Miles W.
"

Basically a poem I thought of the thought process that I might go through if I ever told somebody I loved them.

"
How would I tell her,
That I cared with all my heart
About her.
How would I tell her?
Would I say that she has great hair?
Or maybe that she knows what to wear?
Perhaps I could recite a poem
or a sonnet, or a romantic tome.
Maybe I could give her a bouquet,
of roses and other things I picked that day.
Maybe I could sing a song
like a serenade from days long gone.
Or maybe I could be me
And tell her what I really think.
I think that she is a wonderful human being
With a heart for the Lord that simply just sings.
Her smile is amazing to see.
It shows a heart with willingness to be.
A devotion to the Lord like none I've ever seen.
And such intellect, so keen.
But in the end it comes down to one thing.
I love her, because her heart makes me sing.

Sadly, I already have. Didn't work.
Very well done poem. Used great words, and expressed a very strong meaning.

This is an excellent poem, well written! I especially like that you thought about what things you could give to her, and in the end, you decided to give her the greatest treasure of all, words spoken from your heart.

She would read this and she would know. Very nice and whimsical. Kinda like plucking petals from a daisy - some wishful thinking ... with someone in mind as you think :) Good write

Thank you sir. That means a lot to me.
I have read your writings for since I started taking the creative writing class offered at school. Many of which have caught my eye. This is a beautifully written piece of your feeling for her. Keep writing my friend, you are good at it.
