A walk is what I asked for.A Poem by M. ColemanAgain with the romance of a mind far lost to the thought of that which it cannot have.
A walk is what I asked for, a hand is what you gavethe door is all I strive for, a new way is what you pave a way out is the intention, a way in was your result holding back word of mouth, submissing every insult run from it as I always do, a firm hold is what I needed just let it go and don't ask again is all I pleaded simplicity died along with my ambitions for you complications arose that held you back too being honest is all I have, it's all I've ever really used honesty binds me to you because the lies have been abused I'm still pretending to not know what I want, it's simple enough take a long breath and hold my hand tight because this might get rough delusions of grandeur raise your head high, risky business pride is though animosity between fact and reality become apparent. the same? no. the fact remains that we can't lie to ourselves anymore okay? but the reality is that lying is the only thing we have, so we delay two people so complex in nature can never be whole rubics cube unfinished will forever be another failed goal choc it up to fate, or reality checking once over call it what we want, the truth is all but sober The door we strive for, closed by what we're supposed to be That walk we need to take, is waiting for you and for me © 2011 M.
