Some things good

poem. free verse.

some things were never ment to stay.

just like a balloon floating away on a windy day.

you never understood why it happened this way.

all you know is that nothing ever goes your way.

so you shout out lash out scream out so that they may here you one day.

you're just trying to find a way.

a way to go back to that day.

fix the past and make it a new way.

but as always, all you know is that nothing ever goes your way.

just remember this all happened because of things you couldnt make yourself say.

so you get on your knees and pray.

pray for the day.

the day you might actually get your way.

because you know nothing ever goes your way.

but mostly because some things were never meant to stay.

this is a free verse that i wrote about, feelings and emotions. things that people wish they could change but they cant.

A high methaphr that carries the entire piece, this is rare in a prose like this, and of course the verse of rthym and sevre ending lends to the tension for the reader, well done, good read.
