Voices

A Poem by Indra's Child

Voices

Playing themselves into

The frigid air

To the monarch of mindlessness

Dancing

On the graves of

Generosity

Justice

Freedom from confinement

Destroying the essence

Of empathetic concern

Taking it out of context

Faking a death while committing a murder

Solitude

And introspection

Are faded memories

As the past life

Slips away
