Images Of You

Images Of You

A Poem by Indra's Child

I see you,

In this place,

In every spot you've

Talked to me,

Concerned, heartfelt,

Distant, cold,

Passionate,

Dispassionate.

I feel you,

In my presence,

In every corner you've stood in,

And every place you've sat,

Cross-legged,

Or with your feet on the ground,

Sometimes tapping away,

Stimulation to soothe the mind and delete energy.

I sense you,

As if you are still

Looking at me,

With those intense, beautiful eyes,

In every heartfelt moment,

In every anxious movement.

I feel deeply saddened

That I cannot care for you

Now, when you are in pain,

I feel tortured,

That you are suffering

For no reason.

I see you smile,

I hear your laugh.

My lips feel yours still,

And my ears are still sensitive

To the soft sound of your voice.

I miss you,

A lot,

Even though I know I'll see you,

Again.

(Not soon enough)

I just want to wake up from the dream. "Hi. It's me. I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I imagine you can also feel me. You won't have to search for me anymore. I'm done running. Done hid.. more..
