Fondest Memory

Fondest Memory

A Poem by Indra's Child

As I walk through the dimly lit hallways,
Of my dissolving apathy,
I try to remind myself,
That it's not a promise,
But a possibility,
Of something wonderful.

As you pull back,
Your warm embrace leaves me,
Not destitute,
But now reassured,
That there may be more,
Loving touches and warmth,
From you in our future.
