Castles

Castles

A Poem by Indra's Child

Easier, sometimes...
To build castles in the sky
And live in the clouds
Than to try to fix a crumbling mud house
Caving into your earth
Crushing you
Time and again
All that work
For a simple nothing
Doomed to repeat
Until you don't care

After that day,
I'll live my life drinking you away...
Until then, I'll play my cards right
Count my time wise...

...Every second spent
Drinking you in
...Because I'll never see you again.
