The Sonnet to The One I HateA Poem by Czar LyrusTo a couple of two people I detestBegone! Leave me alone, once and for all! I hate you and I know you hate me Though I am wounded, I shall not fall Can’t you just go away and leave me be? Some say the tongue is sharper than the sword I have long pondered why yours hasn’t dulled Why, your constant insults have left me bored Ha! From your horrid grasp I will be pulled Don’t worry! -I’ve got some presents for you I’ve left some chrysanthemums on your door I’ve grown a couple of black roses too Please, never hesitate to ask for more I await the day I’ll be rid of hate Because you will have surely met your fate! © 2008 Czar LyrusReviews
