Guidelines of a loner III: STAGE 3

The first stage: Infancy

The second stage: a student dreaming of being free

But alas, I’m a Loner trapped on stage three

My heart has been through many trials

Each of them leaving my heart in pain and sore

For love is a battlefield

And I’m caught in the war

I want to give up this war has taken my pride

No one to trust

No one by my side

The battle left me with nothing

I’m just a shadow of a man’s hide

Forever trapped on this roller coaster

For I fear I will never be able to get off this ride

I want to get off

while I still have some common sense

But my foolish heart won’t let me

Sending me back into battle looking for a second chance

But the second chance I was looking for is hard to find

I fear I will never find the one

I’m slowly losing my mind!

For love doesn’t give you sight

Love is deceiving

Love will leave you blind!
