NallebA Poem by LyricalfairydustShip paragraph challenge. She sits on the edge of her bed, gazing out the window, waiting for the sound. Hours have gone by by now, her eyes are tired and her body weak. Iridescent lights suddenly appear through the trees, shooting rays like the sun, lighting up the room. Pulsing through the room, was a silent yet heavy noise, that wraps around you like a blanket. The room begins to fade away and turn white, as she stands and slowly closes her eyes. Then, nothing but silence and a bright white flash in the shape of a circle. That expanded, then retracted to nothing through the forest, as the Star Craft disappeared. She opens her eyes to see a tall handsome man standing in front of her. His hair is dark as night and short like the fuzz on a peach. Eyes like galaxies, your dreams and the stars can be seen with a simple glance. He stares down at her and, in a deep and subtle voice, softly says. "I've brung you back home, for this world is not good enough for kindness and a love like yours." He put his hand on her shoulder, as they both stood side by side gazing out the front glass window of the craft. There it was, out in the distance in the center of all the stars. Getting bigger as they approached, their beautiful humble world they called, Nalleb. © 2023 LyricalfairydustAuthor's Note
