Sit and wait.

Have you ever sat and wondered, 

while you look up at the stars. 

Why is it that things hurt so much,

why is it they leave scars. 

Couldn't we be made stronger, 

with a heart hard like a rock. 

That way our chest wont hurt us,

all our tears we put on block.

No matter what we do, 

don't matter how good we are. 

We never seem to make it, 

happiness just seems so far.

Even when you think you've made it,

that things were never better. 

There comes that big grey cloud, 

ready to change the weather. 

There's nothing we can do, 

there's nothing we can say. 

I guess everyone sit and wait,

your smiles like pain, will come your way.
