Moment

Moment

A Poem by Lestat's daughter

A kiss,

A touch,

A cry,

A gasp,

A moan.

A fleeting moment of pleasure.

Let the feeling stay, you beg.

Then all of a sudden...

It ends.

And your only left with the memory.

A word,

A kiss,

A touch...

So many moments are far too fleeting, leaving us with only the memory - to be triggered by a word. So many words can allow us to tap into that particular memory or cause a flurry of memories to pour forth. Not entirely sure that is where you were going with the second act starting with "A word" before the kiss; but I have found that the most random word can trigger the most random memory.

It may not be based on personal expierience but it means so much. Everything starts with a kiss. That builds up has time gose by. People lose sight of this in there daily life. But with this poem is brongs them back to what everyone should be doing. Loveing and living for the moment. Everyone moment on earth is speical because are life hear on earth is mist. It gose by so fast that sometimes we do not realize how fast or how slow things move. I love this poem for many reason. But one is that is specks the truth. The truth about are life and how love is important. Thank you for this poem. It was an eye opener for me and so many people in this world. Keep up the good work
