Black Hearts

Black Hearts

A Poem by Lestat's daughter

Black wings unfolding.

hot breath escapes it's jaws.

A mighty roar sounds for miles.

Trees knocked down by sharpened claws.

Kills to eat, sometimes for fun.

So many fear it, but so many misunderstand it.

So many tried to see them done.

They're still here!

Blood, fire, terror.

Hearts made with pure darkness.

Surrounded by a red aura.

Only one rule.... survive.
