Adrift

Adrift

A Poem by Ruth Y. Nott

now

spineless

flowing free

moving, soaring

without protection,

jettisoned, discarded,

carelessly tossed

to the wind,

freefall

wow!

a bitter/sweet limerick on the edge of forever ... write on Ruth

What a poetic description of reality from a lady with a very impressive resume. Beyond our control. Truly, there should be comfort and hope in life for the wise and circumspect who wish to return to a fair and equitable peace for all one day. A most lovely and generous sentiment, for if all is forgotten in the end, what a promise of paradise and hope that must hold for many! SO, You see what I have read between the lines of your marvelous poem. Congratulations!
