Circles

Circles

A Poem by ash
"

My mind is free at last.

"
Circles
That which does not serve me
Does not serve purpose
Without purpose, man becomes a circle
And within a circle, he runs around in a loop
His mind races like a racehorse
Galloping through a field without stopping
Forever moving, without slowing down
But a man with a fast mind
Is never fast enough to stop time
Time moves endlessly forward
Flowing like water, and yet he flows like a rock
A rock moving through sand
Moves yet too slow
Life outpaces the rock
And then he lets go
He moves like water
The water that flows inside us all
He searches for purpose
But you cannot search for purpose
If you search for purpose, one moves in circles
And the world is a sphere
Forever rotating, never in the same spot
The world is a sphere
Stop going in circles
