The SeasonsA Poem by lydieThis poem is about the seasons.
The blue sky,
as the leaves die, Fall is near. The leaves fluttering like a clumsy fool, It goes from blistering hot to cool. The gray sky, as the snowflakes blow by, Winter is here. The little red bird sings and flies, but no other animal answers it's cries. The bright sky, the birds play and fly, Spring has bloomed. Like a young flower in the sun, every creature joins in the fun. The undisturbed sky, yet the rain falls with a thundering sigh, Summer has strolled in. Everyone is lazy, even the bees, the calm lapping of the blue seas. All wrapped up in a year, they have everything we hold dear. Animals, colors, flowers, and more, These make the year never a bore!
