Winter Beauty

Winter Beauty

A Poem by mockingbird shadow

Moonlight glistening on the snow

The beauty hidden in its glow

Pure and white fluffy flakes fall

Illuminated by the street lamp tall

Looking out my frosted window

At the beautiful winter show

Tree limbs covered in ice

Trapped in its cold vice

The brisk winter air blows

Freezing your ears and nose

Snow falls covering the town in white

This truly is a beautiful sight

Beautiful, really, both what you describe and how you do thus.
I like the contrast between the dismissed negative aspects of the cold that entraps the trees and might damage the plants and also affects other living creatures negatively and the adoration of the beauty of this cool season and its wonders that more than make up for them.
Your beautiful descriptions capture the wintery scenery beautifully.
Beautifully written.
