It grips you up and breaks you
I was always the runner,
Ran before relationships got serious
But I felt something

By the time I noticed it
It was too late
I took a dosage
Your poison blinded me

You smiled in my face

I nearly bled out

I sought out the antidote

And I was learning to walk again
But the poison was still inside me
You called, I complied

I drank another dosage
Your poising numbing my senses
Smiled and laughed
You ripped my heart out my chest
And tore my heart to LITTLE pieces
How could you do that to me
