Eulogy To Man's Best Friend

Sweety was a beauty. She wasn't just a pet to me. She was so much more. I intend to keep remembering her all the time. This is something I wrote for someone who was there for me through everything.

Four legged beauty she was when she came

A four legged ball of wonder

Brought with her infinite love

And a friendship to make you feel better

Best friend she was to me

The best I could ever hope for

Never looked for anything in return

When she did me favors galore

Welcome sight it was after a tiring day

When she came jumping to greet you

Welcome love it was after a bad day 

When she came to nap near you

Despite being wild and crazy

Courteous also she often was

Came to shake your hand if you asked

With those giant paws

Nothing will ever replace her

Nothing will ever suffice

No one to share the pizza all night

No one to hug when I cry with all my might

Remembered she will be not just by me

By everyone who has ever known her

She changed people's lives bit by bit

Made everyone so much happier.
