words to be kept awayA Poem by luvvinblueMixed signals
It was a strike, I thought
That you can come to me without hesitation I was lucky, I said Cause you trust me with your reason I'm good, you said As a friend to joke around and laugh with You're bad, I murmured to left a sign hanging and hid You smiled, it was a trap I was caught again just like before I smiled, it was a lie Cause I'm getting tired of wanting more There was a line I can never cross But you walk over, back and forth It's vague like your motives Getting judgement inside the court I never dared to ask that question But I expected an answer for some reason Like wanting the moon to come tonight But got thunderstorms in a summer's midnight I'm a fool, they said As a continue to be one I'm a fool, they were right Cause I never tried to run It was gone for too long and I'm tired In not deaf nor blind These words are just muted, not required And my voice won't come, it was left behind I'll just put it on a capsule Then bury with the tears I shed And when the time pass swiftly I'll open it again and say "good thing I never said"
