Inconsolable BeautyA Poem by Tiff-AH!-kneejust a day in the life of a teenager, i guess.Inconsolable Beauty
Desperate to be beautiful, longing to be perfect, she walks the halls with every care in the world. subconscious thoughts worry her, she covers the bruise on her abdomen. when will someone break down the walls she's built? A flip of the hair, a curve of the mouth, it's so easy to look happy, right? a tear builds up, she pushes it back, not here, not now. Anything simple will ruin her image. Anything little can tear her world apart. No one cares, not really, and yet they all continue to pretend. A flirtatious glance, a giggle or two, and every soul is satisfied. Except hers. She'll never forget the night he took her. It's etched into her mind, Forever. © 2009 Tiff-AH!-kneeReviews
