down this road i walkA Poem by luvivajust life basicallydown this road i walk down this beaten path i walk down this cold, narrow winding, thornny road i walk.
as i ponder whether its worth to loose my self as i passby the crossroads leaving a piece of me at every crossroad.
so i ask, how many crossroads will i have to pass before i finally reach my destination.
and how much of me will i have left? so i ask? why loose my self in this world's treasures.
when i know the Kingdom of the LORD awaits me? why celebrate and float in these riches, when i know they never last forever.
these are all the tripping stones. those riches you accumulate for yourself. the selfless will stand to gain, when they what share they have.
so all i ask is share it, for you will leave it behind and it is the tripping stone in your journey to the promised land.
