wake up

uhmm gt nothing 2 say really

 

woke up

only to find the

sun smiling happily

down at me.

 

i had no plan

for the day

neither was I

in a rightful state

of mind to think of one.

 

just sat there yawning

allowing the sun to do its

magic to ma bones.

till i had the strength to get up

 

that's the beauty of nature

only if we knew how to

pay it back.

Great piece. The verses were simple, but they all contribute to one admirable meaning. The portrayal of how the such a simple ordinary aspect of life affects us is very attractive. Truly, how the sun shines and greets us we wake is something most of us take for granted. This poem truly makes realize how wonderful it must be to see an aspect of nature that greets us everyday.
Though you may notice it, this is one wonderful poem you've made. It hurts to hear you say you made this randomly, but satisfies to see the product.

I love random, especially when it's a sweet ode to nature. Pay it back, interesting concept, perhaps we need to be more vigilant in our green endeavors so the sun does continue to shine on us all.

Incredible lines! This might be random and you might not know what to say about it, but I think it completely speaks for itself. Sometimes, nature and time must work their magic, that strange magic called beauty, and in due time we will be healed--maybe not completely, but enough to get up and face the day.
